Matthew Hirsch is the CEO and Co-Founder of Giftifer LLC, a tech-driven gift discovery startup dedicated to helping people find the perfect gift for friends, family, and colleagues. As a Cornell University chemical engineering student and entrepreneur, Matthew combines his technical expertise with a passion for building innovative digital platforms. Under his leadership, Giftifer LLC has grown from a concept to a fast-growing business with a talented team focused on transforming the gift-giving experience.

Matthew’s journey as a founder began with building and leading teams, managing product development, and leveraging emerging technology to solve real-world problems. His background in engineering, programming (Python), and scientific experimentation uniquely positions him to drive Giftifer’s growth in the competitive gift and e-commerce space. Matthew’s experience includes developing an AI-powered Flappy Bird player using the NEAT algorithm, implementing machine learning in music analysis projects, and working on web applications that blend design and functionality.

Before launching Giftifer, Matthew gained hands-on experience in lifeguarding, team-based problem solving, and pitching startup ideas—skills that fuel his collaborative approach to leadership. He is passionate about entrepreneurship, innovation, and using technology to enhance everyday experiences.

Matthew is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Engineering in Chemical Engineering at Cornell University. He is committed to scaling Giftifer LLC, fostering a culture of creativity, and making gift discovery easier and smarter for users everywhere.
